9:00 am-2:00 pm
CG1-Auditorium

All blood screening results can be claimed at the health fair by participants

form which is available for download when you register on the Health Promotion's site at: http://www.hpmi.us/ucar.php

All unclaimed results will be mailed to participants through the postal service.

Those participating in the March 15th blood draw session will have their blood screening results postal-mailed directly to them. Please be sure a valid home mailing address is included on all blood work forms.

The blood draw is conducted prior to the health fair event and is held at each of the UCAR's main facilities: Foothills, Center Green, Mesa Lab, and RAF (Jeffco).  Pre-registrations are required for the blood draw and a 12-hour fast is required (water is recommended, and any required medications should continue to be taken). Diabetics should not fast. This is a full blood chemistry test including cholesterol, lipid profile, electrolytes, liver and kidney enzymes, thyroid and iron, and coronary risk ratio. An additional PSA Prostate Cancer Blood Screening (men aged 50 or older) can also be included. The standard blood chemistry screening and the PSA test are free of charge. Blood screening results can be claimed at the full day health fair event.

There are optional blood tests available this year. There is an additional cost for the optional blood tests, to be paid by the participant.

The link to schedule a blood draw appointment is: http://www.hpmi.us/ucar.php. The process to register is as follows: click on the first step to make your blood draw appointment; create a personal login/password; choose a date/time slot and register; download the Consent and Release form; download the Lab Work form outlining the standard and optional (at participant cost) blood tests available; bring all forms with you to your appointment.

Health Promotion's registration site also includes IMPORTANT information on your Health Screening results
(This includes information on how to have a designate claim your blood screening
results for you at the Health Fair and a link to download the required release form)

The full day health fair is held at the Center Green Auditorium a couple weeks after the blood draws. No registration is required for the full day health fair.  Participants can come and go throughout the day.
