Lab Step Aerobics Classes
Our
view of exercise is that it should be something that is fun! A
participant should be able to get a good cardiovascular and muscle
strengthening workout while doing something enjoyable. We feel
step aerobics offers this wonderful combination. In addition,
participants feel a strong sense of comradery with fellow participants.
These classes will
focus on simple step routines designed for beginner to intermediate
steppers. All routines will get the heart rate up to the appropriate
"fat burning zone" - where we all want it to be!
Best of all, these
classes are free!
Class formats
- Step intervals or hi/lo intervals -
these classes are taught

- Step & toning includes:
8 minutes of warm-up and stretching,
30 minutes of step aerobics,
17 minutes of arms, legs, and abs toning,
5 minutes of stretching
Basic step aerobics includes:
8 minutes of warm-up and stretching,
37 minutes of step aerobics,
10 minutes of arms and abs toning,
5 minutes of stretching
Note: times are approximate for Mary's classes. Sometimes she will focus more on toning if requested by the students.
