Black Bag Service

An intersite express package service is provided for urgent document deliveries. To send an item "black bag," go to the reception desk and complete a tag with the name, destination, and extension of the recipient. The material you wish to send MUST fit in the bag provided. Oversized material must be cleared in advance by the Transportation Manager, ext. 8504, or sent on the afternoon delivery run. For this service, call Shipping/Receiving at ext 1143.

ML and FL Service

Black-bag service for urgent interoffice mail is available between the Mesa and Foothills Labs every 30 minutes on shuttles leaving between 7:05 a.m. and 6:03 p.m.

Center Green Service

Black Bag service to/from Center Green (CG1 and CG4) is available from 9:30 a.m. to 4:25 p.m. Bags dropped at the CG1 and CG4 front desks after 4:25 will be delivered the following morning.

Black bags are picked up and delivered to Jeffco on the two daily mail runs at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Emergency Black Bag Service

For “emergency” black bag service after the last departure at any site, the sender has two options:

1) Hand deliver bag to shuttle driver at the ML, FL, or CG shuttle stops for delivery during regular shuttle hours.

2) Call Security at ext. 1139 to arrange delivery by Security Officers.
