UCAR HESS is responsible for providing policy and procedures for proper chemical management in order to comply with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) health and safety regulations and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hazardous waste disposal requirements. HESS will periodically audit the labs for compliance with these regulations
