UCAR permits smoking only in designated smoking areas at our Colorado facilities. In keeping with State of Colorado and City of Boulder law, smoking is prohibited within 15 feet of building entrances. 

Employees working in non-UCAR buildings should comply with the regulations of that facility.

Smoking is defined as the lighting of a cigarette, cigar, or pipe, or the possession of a lighted cigarette, cigar, or pipe.
