Description:
This very large and vertically developed cumulus cloud, resembling the head of a cauliflower, is known as a cumulus congestus or towering cumulus. Rain showers may result from this type of cloud, which often develops into a cumulonimbus, or thunderstorm, cloud, which can produce much more violent weather.
