Document Title:
Cirrocumulus clouds? (DI02407) Photo by Carlye Calvin
Description:
Based on the apparent size of the cloudlets and the lack of shadow on their bases, these clouds are probably cirrocumulus, a high-altitude cloud type. The structure is influenced by some sort of wave activity, generated either by a wind change with height or a terrain feature.
