Description:
A slurry bomber attacks the Dome Fire outside of Boulder, Colorado on October 29, 2010. The Dome Fire broke out near the Dome Rock formation in Boulder Canyon and quickly spread north, cresting the ridge between Boulder and Sunshine canyons in a matter of hours. More than 1,800 people were forced to evacuate, but no homes were damaged. The 84-acre fire was fully contained by the following Monday.
