Document Title: Doppler on Wheels (DI01992)
Description: A Doppler on Wheels (DOW) radar surveys the Goshen County, WY storm after it moved into western Nebraska during VORTEX2. This is one of a fleet of radar trucks maintained by the Center for Severe Weather Research with the funding mainly provided by the National Science Foundation. The project consists of three trucks mounted with Doppler weather radar dishes, and a support vehicle, and three instrumented SUV/Pickups which deploy instrumented pods in tornadoes and hurricanes.
