1. For NCAR, FY99 Regular NSF funding of $69,628,975 reflects the NCAR Final Program Plan of $62,593,440 plus $460,000 FY00 CSL forward funding and FY98 carryover funds of $6,575,535. The plan level consists of a "substantially increased" target of $54,978,440 plus $460,000 FY00 forward funding and FY99 CSL funding of $7,615,000. FY98 carryover funds consist of committed ($5,024,232) and uncommitted, but programmed ($1,551,303) carryover. Special NSF funds from ATM consists of $2,547,357 in FY98 carryover and new funds of $5,298,663. NCAR NSF Grants from non-ATM divisions consists of $629,775 in FY98 carryover. 2. NCAR non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement consists of FY98 carryover funds totaling $8,416,968. Non-NSF FY99 funding totals $20,157,109. Of the amount received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement, FY99 expenditures and commitments total $12,722,535. New funds from outside contracts received directly by NCAR total $23,404,957. 3. For UOP, FY99 NSF Funded Programs received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement by contract amendment and posted totals $16,269,920 which consists of FY98 carryover funds committed ($634,871) and uncommitted but programmed ($5,331,776) and FY99 $10,303,273 in new funds. UOP NSF grants from non-ATM divisions total $27,608 of which $18,299 is programmed but uncommitted FY98 carryover and committed FY98 carryover is $10,951. FY99 funds total $-1,642. 4. UOP non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $11,861,551, which consists of committed ($249,088), uncommitted but programmed ($3,892,360) carryover and FY99 new funds ($7,720,102) Of the amount received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement, expenditures and commitments total $5,207,526. 5. For UCAR, FY99 NSF Funded Programs received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $5,640,181. FY98 carryover funds consist of committed ($89,182) and uncommitted but programmed ($1,032,521) carryover. UOP NSF Special and Deployment funds of $52,916 consist of committed ($20,450) and uncommitted but programmed ($17,736) carryover. 6. UCAR non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $900,126, which consists of committed ($79,985), and uncommitted but programmed ($341,294) carryover and FY99 funds ($478,847).
