1. For NCAR, FY00 Regular NSF funding of $77,698,626 reflects the NCAR Final Program Plan of $62,580,000 (reduced by $460,000 CSL-MPS FY 2000 forward funding received in FY 1999) and FY99 carryover funds of $15,144,682. The plan level consists of $55,376,000 base program funding and CSL funding of $7,204,000. FY99 carryover funds consist of committed ($14,002,763) and uncommitted, but programmed ($1,141,919) carryover. Special NSF funds from ATM consists of $3,202,832 in FY99 carryover. FY00 special funds from ATM are $7,004,161. NCAR NSF Grants from non-ATM divisions consists of $-17,965 in FY99 carryover. NSF Funds for HIAPER consists of FY00 new funds of 8,500,000. 2. NCAR non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement consists of FY99 carryover funds totaling $8,001,879. Non-NSF FY00 funding totals $9,732,744. Of the amount received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement, FY00 expenditures and commitments total $13,054,878. New funds from outside contracts received directly by NCAR total $27,719,422. 3. For UOP, FY00 NSF Funded Programs received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement by contract amendment and posted totals $19,616,426, which consists of FY99 carryover funds committed ($922,581) and uncommitted but programmed ($7,781,105) and FY00 new funds of $10,912,740. UOP NSF grants from non-ATM divisions total $3,750 of which $2,741 is programmed but uncommitted FY99 carryover and committed FY99 carryover is $1,009. 4. UOP non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $12,848,436, which consists of committed ($470,991), uncommitted but programmed ($5,413,469) carryover and FY00 new funds ($6,963,976). Of the amount received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement, expenditures and commitments total $6,972,151.UOP NSF Special and Deployment funds of $444,351 consists of committed ($384) and uncommitted but programmed ($368,980) carryover.(Ref. report, “Direct Program Activity by Fund Source by Entity”.)

5. For UCAR, FY00 NSF Funded Programs received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $9,103,511. This amount consists of FY00 new funds of $4,502,005 and FY99 carryover funds consists of committed ($241,420) and uncommitted but programmed ($4,360,085) carryover. UCAR NSF Special and Deployment funds of $24,035 consists of committed ($5,191) and uncommitted but programmed ($18,844) carryover. 6. UCAR non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $322,441, which consists of committed ($111,610), and uncommitted but programmed ($198,867) carryover and new funds ($11,964).
