1. For NCAR, FY01 Regular NSF funding of $78,146,656 reflects the NCAR Program Plan of $65,906,000. The plan level consists of $58,174,000 base program funding and CSL funding of $7,732,000, TOTAL 65,906,000. FY00 carryover funds consist of committed ($10,858,975) and uncommitted, but programmed ($1,381,681) carryover. Special NSF funds from ATM consist of $13,408,755 in FY00 carryover. New FY01 special funds from ATM are $2,560,772. (Reference the report “Direct Program Activity by Fund Source by Entity”.)

2. NCAR non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement consists of FY00 carryover funds totaling $5,626,385. Non-NSF FY01 new funding totals $ 8,445,364. Of the amount received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement, FY01 expenditures and commitments total $13,056,212. New funds from outside contracts received directly by NCAR total $18,755,457. 3. For UOP, FY01 NSF Funded Programs received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement by contract amendment and posted totals $16,443,945, which consists of FY00 carryover funds committed ($1,578,356) and uncommitted but programmed ($7,776,371) and FY01 new funds of $7,089,218. NSF Special and Deployment funding of $285,534 consist of FY00 carryover, $184,723 committed, the remainder $100,811 programmed but not yet committed. 4. UOP non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $6,658,007, which consists of committed ($173,726), uncommitted but programmed ($5,874,193) carryover and FY01 new funds ($610,088). Of the amount received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement, expenditures and commitments total $4,538,398. New funds from outside contracts received directly by UOP total $1,744,613. 5. For UCAR, FY01 NSF Funded Programs received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $7,481,714. This amount consists of FY00 carryover fund committed ($897,743) and uncommitted but programmed ($6,267,404) carryover. 6. UCAR non-NSF funding that is received through the NSF Cooperative Agreement totals $162,403, which consists of committed ($19,059), and uncommitted but programmed ($113,457) carryover and new funds ($29,886).
