Financial Management and Business Intelligence Tools Roundtable

Developing and maintaining systems to manage financial information and to support informed decision making is a constant challenge for administration in federally funded environments. How do we make informed decisions in determining resource allocations, anticipate opportunities and challenges, and maintain the programmatic and financial health of our organizations?
This year we will build upon the conversation that we began at last year’s roundtable. At last year’s session we shared information about specific organizations’ financial tools and reporting systems, we explored systems that work well, and discussed limitations in financial tools and reporting mechanisms.
In this year’s session, we plan to:
- Share additional experiences and case studies on Financial Management Tools projects
- Explore challenges in implementing new tools and systems
- Share lessons learned
- Identify best practices
- Share product functionality and experiences
- Discuss alternatives approaches to meet organizational requirements
