Business Process Reengineering and Process Modeling: A Practical ApproachSpeakers: Karl Werner & Karla Edwards This session discusses UCAR's experience in developing business process models (work flow diagrams) for our ongoing Financial Tools project. The session will introduce you to UCAR Information Technology and our roles in the requirements gathering process and documentation of business processes. We will step through the process that we used develop our models, and show you some actual models that were created by Financial Tools project team. We will also discuss the tools and resources that were required to complete the modeling effort, and will end with the lessons that we learned about process modeling and process re-engineering. |
