NSF Business System Reviews (BSRs) - What are they and how to survive them!Speaker: Karen Wilson & Florence Rabanal This session will give you both the NSF and an Institutional look at a BSR. This will include an overview of the NSF process including the selection process (are you on the list?) what is involved in the different BSR stages (pre-site review, site visit, and post visit) in addition to how your institution can prepare in advance to make the review a smooth and productive process for all concerned. Discussions will include how to work with the NSF BSR team to manage the information flow, provide accurate and useful information, and minimize impact on your staff and NSF staff time. If your institution has not had a BSR yet - this session will help you prepare. If your institution has already had one - your experience will be helpful to both the NSF and other institutions!If you have had the TBSR experience you are encouraged to attend to discuss the lessons learned. If you will have one in the future, this should at least help you see the light! |
