Battlefield Bloopers and Blunders:  Lessons Learned for Business Continuity

Speakers:  Cliff Thomas and Steve Sadler

Cliff Thomas and Steve Sadler discuss business continuity concepts. Critical concepts are analyzed from the perspective of actual military experiences; usually bloopers or blunders, unfortunately with many lives or wars lost in the process. This unique perspective includes military engagements ranging from the Napoleonic Wars to the US Civil War. While seemingly unrelated, military engagements offer incredible insights into to managing drastically changing scenarios, strategies and philosophies often encountered in business continuity. Mr. Thomas is uniquely qualified to speak on the subject as a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point along with 20 years military experience as well as being a nationally recognized business continuity/disaster recovery expert. Steve Sadler is just a big goof ball who happens to fancy himself an amateur civil war buff and read a book or two on the subject.
