Warren Schmelzer

Warren Schmelzer is the Senior Engineer at TMA Global Wind Energy Systems Inc. in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he has been developing alternative wind energy systems for over two years. Mr. Schmelzer was awarded a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University in 1981 where he studied complex fluid flows in human physiological systems. He was also awarded a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont in 1992 performing broad research in fluid dynamics, stress analysis, and system dynamics.
Mr. Schmelzer has previously served as a Director of Engineering for CCS Fitness Inc. providing health and fitness equipment for Reebok International and as a Senior Engineer for Delphi Medical Systems. He has owned and operated small businesses in engineering services, manufacturing, and recycling. He founded Green Giant Recycling LLC in 2005, a lumber recycling company that has performed research for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, developing innovative structural applications for scrap diverted from the landfill waste stream.
