Gisele D. Holden

MBA, CPA

Ms. Gisele D. Holden currently serves as Project Manager and Senior Staff Associate to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the National Science Foundation.  In her position she manages a multimillion dollar initiative to modernize the Foundation’s financial management and property systems. 

Ms. Holden’s 22 year career in financial management spans both the federal and private sectors.  As a financial professional for a Corporate 500 company Ms. Holden served as a financial consultant and provided financial advice to 20 cost centers in the Washington DC area. Prior to this position, she worked as an auditor for one of the “Big 4” accounting firms where she performed financial statement audits for real estate, retail, manufacturing industries, non-profit and federal organizations.

Since entering the federal sector in 1993, Ms. Holden has served in a number of increasingly responsible management positions in several agencies as a manager and executive responsible for modernizing and implementing financial management systems; implementing policy and procedures on internal controls and financial management; managing financial operations and reengineering business processes.

Ms. Holden is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with B.Adegree in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration and a Master Certificate in Project Management.
