About Us - OperationsF&A IT Operations provides computing services and support for all of UCAR, NCAR, UOP in various capacities. Organization-wide, we manage the CIT Domain and Active Directory services, the centralized calendaring service (Meeting Maker), and the Corporate Technical Training Center. Operations also supports the F&A applications for budgeting, cafeteria, human resources, and payroll. For over 320 customers in 27 departments/programs we provide direct service and support for help desk, security, e-mail, networks, servers, and desktops. Operations relies on key partners in SCD, organization IT committees, and divisional system administrators to successfully provide our services. We continuously work to protect the computing assets of our customers and of others by complying with security directives and leveraging technology and practices. To meet the growing demands of our customers and of security, Operations actively participates in IT committees and researches and implements new technologies and practices.
