About Us - EngineeringF&A IT Engineering, develops, supports, and maintains the UCAR core accounting and administrative systems (including IFAS - Integrated Financial and Administrative Solution and the HRIS - Human Resources Information System), Web-based administrative applications, and the UCAR Financial Data Warehouse system. The Engineering team mission is to create and maintain innovative solutions using best engineering practices and technologies in support of the business and administrative functions of the UCAR community. Members of the Engineering group contribute to many UCAR-wide groups including DWAG (Data Warehouse Advisory Group), WAG (Web Advisory Group), UDIS, CSAC (Computer Security Advisory Committee), and several business reengineering groups.
