This letter is provided as a sample of a supporting letter that a division host may write for a foreign visitor to carry to the Embassy when applying for a visa.  While it is not mandatory that this letter accompany the visitor, it may be helpful for providing the Embassy with additional information on UCAR's activities and how the foreign visitor is or will be a part of those activities.
