Please provide as much descriptive information as possible about the
rental property. Feel free to send any additional information such as a
map with the location of your property, photographs, etc. in an 8 1/2"
x 11' format.
- Answers to the most frequently asked questions...
- There is no fee for listing your property with UCAR's Housing Office. There
is no guarantee that we will be able to find someone whose situation fits
your listing.
- Most of UCAR's visitors are here for short-term (1 to 6 months) appointments.
Because of this, a majority of the listings used are furnished, short-term
rentals. This does not mean, however, that unfurnished, and/or long term
listings are not accepted.
- UCAR is not on an academic term schedule, therefore visitors arrive throughout
the year.
- If you are able to supply basic kitchen supplies and linens, your marketability
to potential tenants increases.
- On occasion, visitors come to UCAR for under a month. If you are open to
this lease option, please include a per night/per week rate on the Property
Listing Form.
- If you offer a rental of less than six months, it is recommended that your
price include utilities.
- Please bear in mind that neither the UCAR Housing Office nor any of its
employees may enter in to a lease or housing rental agreement on behalf
of UCAR/NCAR/UOP, and that any agreements made will be between the landlord
and tenant. The UCAR Housing Office acts only as a facilitator.
- All listings should comply with all applicable residential landlord/tenant
laws and ordinances within the State of Colorado and City of Boulder.
