EXPIRE
TAB
The Expire tab is available
to all users and is the central point for users to request to Expire
active authorities for themselves or other staff.
Users must first search
for the authority they wish to expire from the Expire Search screen.
The application will then display a list of authorities matching
the search criteria. The user can then select the authorities they
wish to request to expire by selecting the checkbox and clicking
the Submit button.

Defaults
blank. Free form text box to enter in the numeric employee ID
or the name of the person for which you wish to request to expire
an authority. Name can be entered by first, last or partial
name. Field is not case-sensitive. |

an Employee |
Search
is completed based on active employee IDs or names entered in
the Employee ID or Name field. If multiple matches are found
during a search, a drop down box is displayed so users may select
the appropriate employee from the list. |
| Account
Key or Description |
Defaults
blank. Allows user to enter a six digit account key or an account
key description. Account keys and descriptions can be entered
in whole or by partial key or description. For example, 31*,
31312, 313 or IT*, SOARS, Budget, ACD*. |

|
Search is completed
based on account key or description entered in the account key
or description field. When conducting a search, the application
will present users with a drop down box if more than one account
key or description is found. All authorities can be searched
by account key or description EXCEPT for contractual authority.
If a user conducts a contractual authority search that includes
an account key, an error message will appear. |

Conducts search
by both employee ID or name and account key or description.
User is then taken to a search results displaying all authority
records that match the search criteria entered. |

Populates
all action checkboxes that appear on the screen. |
| Submit |
If the user clicking
the submit button has redelegation authority on the record,
the authority will be expired and the user will be taken to
the expiration Confirmation screen.
If the user clicking
the submit button does NOT have redelegation authority, the
authority is routed to the divisional Signature Authority
Administrator for action. The user is then taken to the Expire
Confirmation screen showing the status of the authority as
Pending, Routed to Expire.

Clears
all checkboxes that have been selected on the page. |

Takes
user back to the previous screen. |

Checkbox Column |
Available
for users to select multiple authorities on whcih to take action.
When the checkbox is selected, the application will perform
the action. |

ID or Name |
Read-only
display of the employee ID and name for which the authority
relates. |

Range Column |
Read-only
display of the
effective date range of the authority for the employee displayed. |
| Account
Column |
Read-only
display of the
six-digit account key, wildcard, range, partial key or divisional
text description associated with authority for the employee
ID or name. All restrictions for Requisition authority will
be displayed in this column after the account key. |
| Amount
Column |
Read-only
display of the
amount (dollar value or text) of the authority of the employee
displayed. |
| Redel
Column |
Read-only
display of whether
or not the employee can redelegate the authority. If the employee
in the display has the ability to redelegate that particular
authority, then a checkmark will appear in that column. If employee
in display does not have the ability to redelegate that particular
authority, the column will be blank. |
| Status
Column |
Read-only
display of the appropriate
status of that authority. Status values include:
- Active
- Pending
- Expired
- Pending, Routed
to Activate
- Pending, Routed
to Expire
- Pending, Routed
with Edits
- Future
The status of an
authority is based on the From/To dates.

| Domestic
Travel Columns |
Read-only
display of
whether or not the employee has authority to sign on Staff,
Visitor, or Own domestic travel. The display also shows if the
employee has the authority to redelegate the authority to others.
If the employee has the ability to sign or redelegate domestic
travel, a checkmark will appear in the column. If the employee
does not have the ability to sign or redelegate travel, the
column will be blank. |
| International
Travel Columns |
Read-only
display of
whether or not the employee has authority to sign on Staff,
Visitor, or Own international travel. The display also shows
if the employee has the authority to redelegate the authority
to others. If the employee has the ability to sign or redelegate
international travel, a checkmark will appear in the column.
If the employee does not have the ability to sign or redelegate
travel, the column will be blank. |

Expire
Confirmation Screen Example:
If the proposer has redelegation
authority, this screen will confirm authorities that have been expired.
If the proposer has no redelegation authority, this screen will
confirm authorities that have been routed.

To
Expire/Request to Expire an authority:
- Navigate
to the Expire tab.
- Enter
search criteria on the Expire Search screen.
- Click
the Continue button.
- Select
the checkboxes of the authorities you wish to Expire or Request
to Expire.
- Click
Submit.
- Review
the Confirmation screen.
