OVERVIEW
The UCAR Awards Database is a database-driven Web application that serves as a means for maintaining and reporting on awards received by all UCAR employees.
The goals of the UCAR Awards Database are to:
Support divisions in their efforts to increase award nominations and recipients across all of UCAR.
Provide a centralized mechanism for tracking historical external award information that is easy to use, consistent across the organization, and reduces ad hoc tracking and reporting efforts.
Use the reporting function to demonstrate national and international recognition of our employees in their field(s) of excellence.
Be able to respond to the NSF review panel report before the next competitive agreement period (2006).
Definitions, acronyms, and abbreviations Recipient—a UCAR employee that may or may not have received an award
