Forms Library Help - Downloading
Forms
Downloading a form from the F&A Web
Server to your local PC or Mac is a simple process thanks to the web browser (Netscape,
Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mosaic, etc.).
- From the main F&A
Forms Library page click on an Administrative Forms folder or if you are
looking for updates click on the Form
Updates folder. Here you will be presented with a list of forms available
on the F&A web. In both areas the forms are listed by function and then by
title.
- Choose a form from the either
list to view by clicking on the form title.
- You will now see all the details
of the form including general use information and links to instructions, examples,
an image, and a download version of the form.
- Choose the "Download Form" link.
- Your web browser will prompt you
with a "Save As" dialog box. The default name will probably be fine most of
the time, but you can change it to something more descriptive.
- Choose where on your hard disk
(or other disk) that you would like to save a copy of the form, for example
C:\forms for the PC or enter the folder name for the Mac.
- Choose OK or Continue and the
form will be saved to the directory on your machine that you specified.
Many forms in the library are in
Excel 4.0 format for compatibility purposes. If a form is in another format
like Filemaker Pro, it will be indicated on the "Details" page.
Happy downloading!
