Business Services
Business Services is a service organization, comprised of the Office of the Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration, the Contracts Office, and the Sponsored Agreements Office, committed to providing expert business and contractual services and modern facilities to UCAR, NCAR, UCP and E&O in support of their missions, constituents, and sponsors while fostering an ethical, innovative and professional environment.
The Contracts group deals with the flow of money out of UCAR/NCAR/UCP.
The Contracts Office is responsible for the procurement of goods and services required to support all UCAR/NCAR/UCP divisions, programs, and projects. This responsibility also includes the negotiation and administration of purchase orders, contract agreements, hotel events, leases, and consulting agreements.
The Sponsored Agreements group deals with the flow of money into UCAR/NCAR/UCP.
The Sponsored Agreements Office is responsible for the receipt, negotiation, authorization, and acceptance of all incoming funded and no-cost award agreements, such as contracts, cooperative agreements, grants and MOU’s. Sponsored Agreements also assists entity Budget Offices, Finance, Divisions and Programs with issues of compliance.
